Simply delicious / incredible. Forgot to snip the pizzas. They were AMAZING. The kale salad was great. The seasonal pear dessert was truly incredible. This place is quite loud. But an industrial pizza young & hip vibe Didn’t need a Rez for a large group on a Tuesday night

Love this place! Perfectly baked in wood fired oven. Unique pizza combos as well as more traditional options on menu. Vegan option on menu with cashew cheese. Espresso on dessert menu (but didn’t see vegan food on dessert menu). Little bar around the corner (past restrooms).

Unique place to enjoy fresh woodfire pizzas with choice of veg and nonveg toppings.Can also enjoy salads and drinks and desserts.Ambience,service and also food quality and taste memorable and worth revisiting.

Great food, great beer great service. We bypassed the line as we only had 2 and sat at the window. Morel crotini was amazing and the deep fried pigs ear surprisingly tasty. Anchovies pizza was our favorite and the sweet fennel sausage a close second. Really good and an upscale pizza place with more pizza than just pizza. We loved it. Worth the wait and you know why there is a wait in the first place

Fun, energetic environment. You can see the chef pulling pizzas from the oven and preparing them in front of you. I had the white egg pizza and it was very good. I also enjoyed the ricotta dumplings, they were much different than I expected. I have to dock them a star for the kale salad. I don’t know who ticked off the chef, but that salad needs a warning! Way too hot for someone who can’t handle their spice; couldn’t even finish one bite very disappointing. Otherwise, everything was great.

Some of the best pizza in my life. Shared 4 pies with colleagues and there wasn't a bite left. They were larger than we expected, but couldn't stop ourselves from eating everything. This was my first potatoes pizza experience and my life is better because of it. The place was packed but the service was great! We had beers at the bar while we waited a few mins for a table. I can't wait to come back.

Pizzeria Toro is hands down the best pizza in the area — and I mean anywhere I’ve been in Raleigh, Durham, or Chapel Hill. Nothing else comes close. The authentic wood-fired oven makes a huge difference. The crust has that perfect char, great texture, and the flavors are just dialed in. Every bite feels intentional. The atmosphere is awesome too — really chill, warm, and inviting. It’s the kind of place you actually want to hang out in. I also love that they don’t take reservations. It somehow keeps things moving and it never feels overly packed. I was able to go last minute for date night and had a fantastic experience. Incredible food. Great vibe. Best pizza around.

Loved the lively atmosphere. We came for a late lunch at 2pm and the restaurant was about 80% full. A friend recommended we get the Sweet Fennel Sausage pizza (delicious!) and we were told that the Kale salad was not to be missed. Our friend was right - the salad was one of the best I've ever had! The pizza was plenty big enough to share though we did see several people ordering their own pizzas - probably wanted to enjoy yummy leftovers!
